Why Blue river hunting?
Blue River Hunting LLC is owned and operated by Tom Koch, an experienced, Midwestern hunter that is knowledgeable in Deer, Turkey and Goose hunting. When you hunt with Blue River Hunting, you will be staying in a first class lodge. You will only be expected to drive to DeWitt, or fly into a nearby airport and rent a car. Nearest airports are Omaha Eppley Airport (OMA), a 1.5 hour drive or Lincoln Airport (LNK), a 40 minute drive. You will meet your guide at breakfast and then be dropped off to your hunting destination. All hunts are fair chase. with no high fence. 3,000+ private acres of land await you.

Tom Koch is an experienced, well-rounded hunter that has lead successful hunts for himself and others. Blue River Hunting was created on family foundations, hard-work and a love for the Midwestern outdoors. Blue River Hunting is happy to aid hunters of all experience levels on a successful, enjoying hunt of your choice.
Blue River Outdoors is a family owned business that started out by selling a few blinds. From there, we’ve developed into a business with numerous products that are now featured in our newly built showroom in DeWitt, Nebraska. We strive to provide great products to great people on a one-on-one basis to get them the items they need. We offer the best of the best when it comes to blinds, feeders, accessories and more. We pride ourselves on our customer relationships and offering our customers great products.

Location
Blue River Hunting and Blue River Outdoors’ showroom, is located in Southeast Nebraska near Kansas, Missouri and Iowa. In addition to farmland and dense timber, our property is accompanied by ponds, creeks or rivers. The varying topography provides for trophy whitetail, bountiful eastern turkey and great late season goose hunting.

What to expect on your guided hunts?
Be sure to bring proper hunting clothing for the conditions, which include rain gear, warm clothing, comfortable footwear and seasonal attire. Hunting supplies such as; a flat shooting rifle, 243 or greater, along with binoculars, range finders, decoys and calls if desired. Blue River Outdoors has additional hunting necessities to accompany your hunt and stay within our showroom. Our Blue River Outdoors showroom has scent remover that is essential to a successful hunt in addition to other necessities such as deer food, blinds and more. All turkey hunts include lodging and no evening cooked meals.
